Profile
Shazia is a dedicated advocate, and an experienced child law practitioner, who specialises in public and private children law cases.

Prior to being called to the Bar in 2021, she built up over a decade of experience as a Solicitor-Advocate in matters including child arrangements, domestic abuse, non-accidental injury, parental alienation, and sexual abuse cases. Shazia has appeared at all tiers of the Family Court, up to the High Court.

As a Solicitor-Advocate she received frequent commendations for the quality of her work in the Buckinghamshire area. She is known as a fearless and impressive advocate who manages complicated cases with good sense, pragmatism, and care. Her case analysis and cross examination technique is excellent.

Outside of her practice, Shazia volunteers at the Royal Court of Justice to enable and support financially vulnerable lay clients, who would otherwise be unable to access justice.

Shazia has excellent client care skills and is very well placed to deal with the anxieties experienced by lay parties involved in the court process; Shazia is a very safe pair of hands.
